I’ve finally settled on a title that I like and am currently doing a final reread and edit before submitting it.

And the winner is….

THE WITCH AND HER WEAPONS

I felt it captured some of the key elements of the plot and the structure hints at the kind of prose. Plus, it’s not the X of Y and Z, so that’s something.

I may yet change my mind, but so far, this is my favorite from the many pages of of titles I brainstormed. (Though I could change it, if anyone can give me a good word related to alchemy that starts with W.)
